Why bamboo?
Bamboo is just an amazing plant. It can grow really fast and in a variety of climates, it is actually one of the fastest growing plants on earth. Some species can even grow 120cm per day. This makes it a great replacement for other slow growing trees and therefore prevents deforestation.
